I hafta disagree. In the past two to three years, NFL stars have been robbed and murdered either in nightlife or in the safety of their own homes. True, it was against the law for Burress to be carrying the handgun. It was only illegal, because he did not have it registered. In this country, one of those amendments says the right to bear arms. Burress has every right to carry a firearm as long as he carries it legally. Two years is a pretty steep verdict for a victimless crime, but the correct sentence nonetheless.
